We announce that the new version (V 7.0 – 2025) of the Food Composition Table is now online.
This update includes 1,372 foods (raw, cooked, and processed) with information on the content of 50 components/nutrients. In this new version, values for six carotenoids in fruits and vegetables were added: α-carotene, β-carotene, β-cryptoxanthin, lycopene, lutein, and zeaxanthin.
In addition to the introduction of new foods, component contents were updated, food descriptions were reviewed, obsolete foods were removed, and values for edible portions were added/reviewed (45 foods).
