Using the information available in our Food Composition Table, along with the recipe/technical sheet data for products, it is possible to calculate the nutritional declaration.
For prepackaged products, for which a Nutrition Declaration on the label is mandatory, INSA—through the Monitoring and Surveillance Unit of the Department of Food and Nutrition—can carry out the calculation of the nutritional labelling, since legislation also allows calculations based on robust data, in addition to analytical procedures.
This service is provided upon request to food business operators of any size.
